Hi, I am having an immense issue on my phone, which also many other people are encountering I saw online as well. I keep getting a non-stop silent notification which says USB Connector Connected / Disconnected. I have a A51 phone and since 3 days this is going on.
I saw many other people encountered this issue. I have tried many of the proposed solutions but in vain. Here is a list of things I did to tackle it:
-Discharge my phone battery to 0% then full charge to 100% with my original battery charger and TYPE C cable.
-Cleared cache and date of USB Settings
-Cleared cache of Android System
-Boot in safe mode and cleared cache of USB settings
-Master reset
-Wiped cache partition in recovery mode
-Downgraded to previous firmware
-Cleaned USB port with a plastic toothpick
-Put the phone 20 hours in rice and even used hair dryer
-Enabled developer mode and change USB default connection to phone charging only
I tried all these but in vain. The issue still persists. I have heard that even after changing the USB port, the problem comes back later. So, it is not a hardware issue then!
Please help...

I've been having this device ruining problem notification and tried all of the solutions but it kept coming back. The instructions on page 12 from suresh work but I had to alter the last step for the notification to stay away because as soon as I unplug it came back.
So I do this - Plug in charger, turn off device, allow charging circle to appear and start charge, unplug charge and then start up device. This keeps the notification gone until the next time I plug in.
If it doesn't work try once more. If still no luck you'll have to keep trying the troubleshooting until you find what works for you. Clearing the 'usb settings' system app also helped but the relief was not permanent.

What worked for me was reverting update of Google WebView. This component has been known to cause problems before, and as it is pretty central to functioning of many app, the symptoms vary widely.
Anyway, it got updated several times in the meantime, but that problem has not returned. Unfortunately, I haven't thought of noting the exact version of the offending component.

I had this issue but it eventually went away. not sure if it was cleaning the port or software updates. Could have been uninstalling programs. at the time it went away, it did not seem correlated to anything I did. sorry I cant be more help. galaxy s21

This procedure solved the problem for my M52. I cleaned the usb C port with a small plastic toothpick whith the phone switched off. When I switched on again the problem was gone. Thanks for the hint.

Same problem here. Yes it is a major defect affecting all samsung galaxies. These galaxy phones and charging cords c to c are extremely sensitive to moisture. That triggers the bug. Where nothing solves it. Pay the outrageous price for a genuine samsung charge cable and charger. The galaxaies are very allergic to any other brand of charging accessories. I will personally never purchase another samsung product. Endless updates but never a fix for this ongoing massive issue.

Solved !!!!!
I know this is an old post, but it quickly solved this very irritating issue for me. It started out of nowhere and was making my phone basically useless. I had tried many other things mentioned in this thread and none worked. Hopefully my success will encourage others to try this. Older base model Galaxy A11.
EDIT : I was following instructions and replying to the Moderator Response (AndrewL) on the 4th page of this reply thread.
