Such a shame Samsung has ditched the micro sd card slot this year on the A56. I've previously had the A52 and currently have the A54.

I was planning on upgrading to the A57 next year but it looks like I'll be getting another brand now that still provides that feature.

I think the sad reality about SD cards is theyre simply falling behind, and in due time will be ditched for good

I totally understand your viewpoint on this @Daniel1978_

If a Sd Card option is a must and a deal breaker for you then there's plenty of phone's out there that have this as an option.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

There are different opinions on SD cards  but  the slots being removed from more Devices though there are options available.  Personally I have not felt the need for Sd cards in recent years, they are not the fastest technology and can be prone to error.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

I miss aerials on phones too. And FM radio. And black and white screens. 😠

You'll be very lucky to find another model and make that still offers the SD card slot.

Most phones that still have sd cards these days are budget phones, its not worth the trade off trust me.

SD Cards are notoriously unreliable and once damaged you lose everything.

Saving to the cloud (backup) may cost but it adds so much security to your images and files.

No brainer in my opinion. I'm really not understanding why so many people are obsessed with an ageing tech that is no longer secure.
