Hi, I have recently bought the Galaxy A55 5G (3 weeks ago), and I feel it heating up when using it. Mostly when gaming. I have contacted Samsung Support and they say it could be because of the Adaptive Battery. I tried turning it off but then it got hotter so I turned it back on again. I also want to use adaptive fresh rate for smooth experience, I have have only had 60hz before. I tried turning adaptive fresh rate off, and it helped a bit, but not much. I have also installed the Thermal Guardians app from the Good Guardians app. I switched Thermal Threshold to the lowest, saying it would decrease the thermal threshold by 2°C, and I think that means the phone decreases by 2°C. Only by typing this makes my phone hot. Is this because of the Exynos 1480 chipset? I would appreciate any solutions. Thanks.

I also have the Same phone as you, and the reason of it getting hot is because it has graphite mostly at the top of the phone (used for heat transfer). I myself have noticed huge heat rises like right now... but I'm not exactly sure why it heats up so fast.

My a55 is also getting hot and when it gets to hot the network starts to slow down when I'm using data or WiFi it just like stops I tried to put a wet tissue paper in between my phone and case to lower the temp so it won't burn my hand

Could you clarify the Adaptive battery notion, please? Then, 60hz.. Adaptive fresh rate?.. Thermal guardians.. Exynos chipset... How did you solve it... I never had any issues with other phone models.. Could it be that the A55 is a defective model, badly conceived as far as the designated software is concerned..

I have been playing this game for yonks... never had 'hanging' issues whilst gaming... Namely Golf Blitz..I'm on level 46.. this means I have been on it for years.. The A55 has been badly designed... Without a cover it feels like I'm holding a metal case, which, with time, is tiring to hold and manage... Yes, manage. Because suddenly it goes in stand-by mode if you are not careful as it appears to be ultra sensitive to touch, even if it's not with your hands.. It's ridiculous... I won't ever touch a Samsung again...
