Connecting Watch to phone

Does anyone know how to connect a Samsung watch to my phone. When I try to put in my Google email it says account already exists on your device ? Have tried just about everything including a factory reset but still get the same error

Should be able fairly straight forward process using the wearable app.
One thing I found is when I'm going to one phone to another, the Watch just won't connect. So I factory reset the Watch.
Is that what you are trying to do?
Or is it a new watch?
What devices are they both?

I lost connection and ended up having to do a reset but now I can get as far as adding my Google account then it says account is already on device and I can't skip it to finish connection

Delete it from Samsung account in devices then retry , the only other way is to create new Google account , then after set up revert to original Google account , this has been happening for about the last 5 or 6 months ..

I can see you can sign out but how do you delete the device ?

Below signed in devices it lists all devices , tap on your watch then tap the three dots top right that then opens delete device
