Low Call volume in A55

My Samsung A55 phone started having low call volume. I hardly hear my caller except i put in speaker or use earbuds. What could be the problem? I have tried several suggestions to no avail.

I have just used this phone for 6 months. Please help me

Is this on a normal phone? Have you attempted it via WhatsApp/Messenger, etc., which uses Wi-Fi?

If it's fine there, then there's a signal issue. If it's low on both cellular and Wi-Fi, then it's a speaker problem. If it's a cellular issue, reach out to your provider. If it's a speaker issue, reach out to customer support.

*Being that it's happening with earbuds too, I suspect a signal issue over anything else.

@LadyZigi: Is this happening with all contacts, or just certain ones? While connected to a call, have tried pressing and holding the Volume Up button on the side of your A55 to increase the call volume in this manner? 

If the issue persists, head to the Samsung Members app > Press and hold on the app icon > Diagnostics > Phone diagnostics > Speaker > Play, then hold the phone to your ear as if you were on a call. Can you hear the sample song clearly?
