Hi there, and welcome to the community

Is there any errors you get? Or could you be more specific? When you on the call does it let you swipe up from the bottom to bring up the homescreen?

I can bring up my homescreen.
So what happens for example, I am on a call on whats app and I go to type a message in what's app or even do a search in Google, Whilst still on the call, and the keyboard would not appear when I place the cursor in the place to type. There are no error messages.

Have you tried it in safe mode to see if there's 3rd party apps causing this issue? Or hold volume down and power buttons simultaneously for 15seconds till samsung logo appears and see if problem persists?

@CantWorkMyPhone: If you're using the Samsung Keyboard, please try heading to Settings > Apps > Tap the 3 lines to the right of 'Your apps' > Show system apps (toggle this on) > OK > Samsung Keyboard > Appear on top > Allow permission (toggle this on).

Let me know if this helps.
