I have an A55. I noticed that when doing a factory reset from the settings page, the One UI gives you a prompt to enter your PIN, then after you press delete, it then asks for your Samsung account password before it actually lets you do the factory reset. For me this simply adds an extra unwanted step. I use complex passwords, so to actually do a factory reset I have to log into my password manager and then copy and paste the password. I'd like to be able to do a reset just by entering my PIN or fingerprint. Is this not possible with One UI? Can't I just remove my Samsung account from the phone completely?

Oh and fingerprint won't be allowed as that's not very secure compared to your password. It IS secure, but a password is deemed better

The only other option would be a Samsung Service Centre or Samsung Experience Store with proof of putchase.
