Hi,

I am trying to add a song as a ring tone for my new A55 phone.  i can not link my spotify account to Samsung Music, and I am pretty sure that you can't do this action..is there any other way?  thanks..

You can't set a music ringtone from a streaming service. You need to download the music on your phone and then you can select it through the ringtone section

Quick guide on how to do it

You can just download the song, may be you can use a Ringtone cutter app available in playstore for the selected portion, and save it. Then choose the sound in settings, ringtone and selected the song. Done

Have a look on zedge.com also @Julie-Anne

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

@Julie-Anne: If you download an audio track onto your Galaxy A55, then it can be added as a ringtone by heading to Settings > Sounds and vibration > Ringtone > Tap the '+' symbol in the top right > Allow Sound picker to access music and audio on this device (Allow) > Select the file from the list that appears on screen.
