With the latest Android came an annoying, useless piece of adware called AppCloud. It only seems to exist to try to get you to download games. Its notification can't be swiped away and the option to uninstall it is greyed out.

I neither asked for it nor want it. I have blocked its notifications and have disabled it but I want it off my phone for good. Can a dev provide instructions for permanently deleting it?

Have you accepted a Samsung update since? Did that re-enable AppCloud? If it worked, please, please, please! state which phone / android you have. (Have you switched to OneUI? If so, which version?)

Yes, I have accepted updates and it did NOT re-enable AppCloud, at least as far as I can tell.  I have a S24 Ultra and I have switched to OneUI, not sure which version.

Last night, Tuesday, 12,10,24, I was sent a smartphone system upgrade from Samsung and I too received that stupid  appcloud suggestion. I got it once before the same way but I chose not to use it and somehow it went away. Unfortunately, early this morning I did download two apps with it but not any of the suggested ones they wanted me to download. But now get the notification but clicking on it did nothing. I was able to swipe it away for now at least. But I too would like to delete it. I'm running with a  Samsung Galaxy S24+ with android version 14. Can you help to get rid of it?

It is really annoying. You can't swipe the notification away, and it makes you download apps you do not want. I deselected all of the 'recommended apps' but it still downloads them anyway, this is NOT going to get me to use these apps, if anything it deters me from ever using them, downloading without my permission is kinda sketchy, not an app I trust.

That sounds promising. Cross fingers AppCloud will stay out of my hair from here on, and yours too. Thank you replying!

Forgot to mention, ftr and other readers, I have an A14 I bought this summer and upgraded to OneUI 6.1 a few days ago. I plan to reply here again if AppCloud comes back.

I have it on my S24U, it's immensely annoying and keeps installing crappy apps, mainly gambling apps, really need a way of getting rid of it.

I realise the posts on here are 23/24, but I thought I would post my experience with this stupid Applecloud ,I read all what people were saying ,tried all the tips and tried everything I could to uninstall it and nothing worked so what I did was tap install it then downloaded 5 games, when one was installed I simply uninstalled it one by one which took all of 5 minutes the icon left the screen and has not returned this was 2 days ago. Don't know if this would be the same for everyone but maybe that's the way to go...
