Help please

I've just downloaded a one ui download it's awful I kniw i can't get rid of it but what can I do it locks my screen abd I cannot get back in 

I've downloaded a nova launch tgat gasnt helped

Quite a few people have the exact same problem. I don't actually know of a solution yet, though in maybe an hour someone is giving me an a14 with the same problem. Will update if I find a fix

Update, doing a force reboot temporarily fixes the locked screen issue.

In reality the whole touch screen has actually stopped working.

A force reboot is power and volume down for 7-10 seconds
