Avoid A35

I bought the Samsung A35 5g brand new and am experiencing constant issues with Google Wallet. Samsung don't want to know. My bank has removed all tokenizations. Google Wallet are trying to get to the bottom of this. Opened a new bank account with a completely different bank, but getting the same issue. Never had this on previous Android devices! Personally, think Samsung Wallet has blocked Google Wallet. I will be getting rid of this piece of junk soon and going back to Honor.

Samsung wallet and Google wallet are completely different from each other. A lot of banks won't work with Samsung wallet but work better with Google Pay that's why most choose that option.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, they are completely different. I've used Google Wallet happily on other Android devices, but now that I'm on Samsung or is my belief that Samsung Wallet is somehow preventing me from using Google Wallet.

If anyone, Google can resolve it. Assuming bank is supported

It stores my card to Google Pay (my default setting), but will not allow me to add it to Google Wallet to be used via contactless and therefore will not add it to my Google Wallet.

Been in contact with them many times. Just today, had yet another phone conversation (they called from California). Even they don't understand and have referred it to the specialist team.
