How can I get his stuff off with broken screen

My son has had the A20e for last 18 months.  Recently he has started secondary school and 4 weeks in some lovely boys 3 years above him took his phone and attempted to snap it.  The phone won the fight but not the screen. When he got home my first thought was smart switch to old a7 left from daughters upgrade.  Everything moved across as screen got worse and worse.  Some ***** (long story) felt he shouldn't have 'new' phone, school or boys should pay and 10 minutes after I switched, wiped and reset to new phone start up.  Is there any way to retrieve stuff from phone without a20e screen to confirm the smart switch option?

It's possible that his phone was backing upto Samsung Cloud.

You'll know when setting up the new phone and choosing to set up using a back up.

Have you priced up having a new display fitted.

If you've factory reset the broken phone then all data is lost on that phone @FrozenRose
