Can anyone tell me why my screen continuously goes dark and light when on a video call or zoom i have an A70

you might have adaptive brightness turned on, you need to turn it off so it doesn't go dark and light anymore.

I've turned off adaptive brightness and it doesn't make an difference I've also turned off the blue screen control that doesn't make any difference does anyone else have this problem?

is that the adaptive light control?

@lozza56: Try heading to Settings > Display > Adaptive Brightness, and toggle this option off to see if this helps. If not, can you confirm if the screen darkens after a certain time, or is it random?
