I have a Galaxy A13 lite.  I took some short videos on it and on iy they play well.  However when I copy them to my Windows laptop they do not play except if I use an HEVC extension.  This means I cannot send them on by email.  This very inconvenient.  Also it seems that I have to watch them on the laptop only in the HEVC folder.  Is there a solution?

Hi! Welcome to the samsung members community

It could also be your windows default video player

1. Open Settings 2. Select Apps 3. Select Default apps 4. Search for a file type or app 5. Select the app you want to use as the default for that file type 6. Select the file type you want to change 7. Choose an app from the list

I did as suggested and chose VLC as the default.  All videos are now converted to MP4 and easily sent by email.  Thanks again.
