Having an issue with the original weather app (Weather Channel) since yesterday 14 Feb, it hasn't updated since 12.52 no idea why it has been working fine since I got the phone. I regularly install the Samsung updates. Any ideas?

Its stopped working for me too on same day, when I try to reload it says service is not available. I have a Samsung S9+

Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum. 

Apps cache can be cleared by long holding down on the app icon, and then tap on i and then Storage and Clear Cache.

Same on my phone. It's not updated since Thursday. I wondered why it was showing exactly the same weather for today as it did yesterday.

Hi Band of Brothers thanks for your advice, K previously had the weather app always open on the home screen not sure how to re-instate? My home screen was also locked - doesnt make sense to me?

Go to settings > apps > search 'weather' in search bar > click on 'weather' app > click on 'storage' > clear 'cache' and 'data'.
