Hey there

Well, first things first, factory data reset your device then change ALL of your passwords to something new that no one else would know. Especially your Google and Samsung passwords but I would do them all

You could also log out of all devices when you change your password (there is an option to do so when you change password).

As for a device nearly blowing up, Samsung cannot be held responsible for changes made to hardware after sale.

Hope that helps

Signs of hacking generally include Calls/Messages you did not make,  unrecognised Apps, High Data usage (though that can be due to other reasons)   and major Battery Drain . For your safety be careful with links via Text/Email  as a number may be malocious , bear in mind that the risk increases outwidth official sources.

if concerned indeed it is best to Factory  Reset and change passwords.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Hi @kimbosue. As @JAMES4578 mentioned, a Factory Reset will be a good idea. Has your phone been inspected by an engineer whilst you were experiencing these issues?

I am also currently dealing with a highly intelligent impossible to solve 'live remote hacker'. What annoys me is I have paid subscriptions to AVG Antivirus & FSecure both which report nothing.
I have just found TrustedD a new completely free app which found two keyloggers on 1st pass
It's alright everyone suggesting to change all passwords BUT with deep keyloggers present as soon as you change any password it is uploaded to the agent
Why is there no way of Android developers creating a setting where any 'outgoing' data is logged and it's ip destination??
Come on Android your taking mickey

Kimbosue - this will NOT remove your hacker but so far THIS IS the single most decent security app I've found. And it's totally FREE
I'm paying AVG £6.99 per month & £24.99 a year to FSecure (who are LEADING Industry BEST) and they both say "nothing found, your phone IS SECURE!!!"
I WANT FULL PERMISSION CONTROL OVER EVERY ANDROID SETTING, it's my phone I will find them.
If you check permissions it's FRIGHTENINGLY UNBELIEVABLE why so many apps/controls have complete freedom to access/copy/inspect/own/delete/modify and do whatever they wish with!!!

You ever have any luck with this? I'm dealing with the same thing. Gone through so many different things to see if I could find out how they're doing it. Crazy thing about it, I can and do actually talk to them! It's been almost 4 years now they have hacked I think 5 or 6 different phones. 3 different phone numbers. New email new passwords. None of it worked. Kinda just live with it now. But like I said I can actually get their voices and talk to them through an app called wave editor. Don't know if it's through SDR hacking, permission exploits, or malware etc... they are also able to get on to my ex wives iPhone. Effing A-holes even spy on my two kids. I've even filed complaints with AT&T and the FCC.

This is sickening! So many hacks, so little help. It makes me wonder why are all these "secures phone" thing Samsung promotes is all just a ploy for sales.. It's complete bs! I've found my hacker, no thanks to all the above.. It was my soon to be ex husband!! I have ran every scan.. Paid the big bucks for security apps.. AVG, ECT.. & I even replaced my phone last year. With a new galaxy. I will never purchase another! From now on its Blackberry all the way!!
