Gmail keeps closing and other apps not openng.

I received my Samsung A20e on Sunday and used Smartswitch to transfer all my data from Samsung A20. Everything went well and I thought it had transferred fine. I logged back into apps on my new phone and opened gmail. I can see new emails coming in and delete them but when I click to open one the app stops working. Also Facebook is fine until I click onto a link and then that wont open. I've cleared cached data for these apps and updated but they still dont work. Any help would be appreciated thanks

do you get any error code or message on the screen when that happens?

No error codes it just closes. Think I've fixed it though. Went back in and cleared all cached data then synced it then restarted phone and that seems to have worked. Thank you
