A56 screen on/off

I've just got a flip case for my new Samsung A56 and cannot find any way to enable the screen to turn off and on when opening and closing the case.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I don't believe the A56 has that ability. I know older models do, but everywhere I'm looking online suggests it doesn't. It's best to double-check with Samsung directly.

If it were supported, it would be under Accessories in Settings. If it's not there, then I don't believe it's supported.

Worse case download a 3rd party app such as https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teqtic.kinscreen

Nothing works.

Seems as if you cant....I would reach out to Samsung to get a straight answer. Keep updated.
