Hallo Team,
my girlfriend and I have the same problem since a while. We get both the error "simcard not inserted". I have a A40 and she has A20. We tried a restart, cleaned the simcard. Are there software issues since last update?

Hi @Wdijkstra ,
I'm unaware of any issue related to the latest software version. Have you tried to request a replacement card from your network provider to see if this continues happening?
You can also check if there is anything wrong with the SIM by running this test from Samsung Members> Get help> Interactive checks> SIM.

Fill tray with any microSD card and even secondary SIM if you could find any - this tray is too big and loose, that is why phone behaves like that! Just making it all more stiff did the trick!
