Good evening all, my Galaxy A70 hasn't received any updates since the September 2020 security patch and I'm curious as to whether other A70 owners are experiencing the same thing? It was set to receive One UI 2.5 in late 2020, however never did. Maybe Samsung has taken a hiatus with the A70 model but it seems odd. Any info will be appreciated. Good day!
It does yes. You can change it but it does involve flashing the firmware which means wiping the device. My a70 came unlocked from network 3 and was on 3 firmware, meaning I got security updates late as 3 are rubbish at sending updates out. I ended up flashing the standard XEU firmware on my device and now I get the updates on time
