Galaxy A52 4G Software Updates

Hi,

I was wondering when/if the Samsung Galaxy A52 4G is gonna be getting more Software Updates.

Ath the moment my Galaxy A52 4G (EUX - Europe) is only on December 1st 2023 security patch level Android 13 One UI 5.1. This is unusual to me because if I remember correctly the monthly security patch was always arriving at the end of the month and according to this website (https://security.samsungmobile.com/workScope.smsb ) it should still get updates monthly. On the Samsung Members App it was also announced that the phone would get One UI 6.0 on january 2024. I have also been checking on https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-a52/firmware/#SM-A525F almost daily and it looks like only the Russian version has been getting updates (One UI 6.0 and security) past december 2023.

My question is: Is the phone being abandoned in regards to OS updates except the Russia version? If no, could we get an update to why we are getting no updates?

This is strange as my friend only has a basic a14...and has just received the android 14 one ui6 update and Jan 1st Google system update.......your phone is far superior so I'd just say its a region thing.....hang in there

My theory is that the update will be released in March because that is when the Samsung A52 4G device turns 3 years old, and Samsung promised 3 big Android updates for the device, perhaps that is why we did not receive the security patch either. January and neither February, I think we will receive One Ui 6.1 as the last update surely

This explanation is not logical. we should at least receive security patches every month. Today it's been exactly 2 months since I received the December security patch. What's strange is that no one gives an explanation for this delay.

I have the same problem. My Mothers A52 still has Android 13. Even though the update list says that it should have gotten android 14. But it already has januarys security patch

I've been wondering about this as well. It is almost March and we still haven't received neither the One UI 6 update nor any security patches since December. We are entitled do 3 years of updates and I don't know why they are making us wait this long. The phone's monthly security patches are going to stop in April. At least they should give us our monthly security patches on time.
