I have a A71 phone. My daughter and son have one as well and we are all having the same issue. When we make calls or someone calls at times the caller cannot hear us. We have to restart the phone every time it happens. It's very annoying. Can someone at samsung help with this issue

Ah, I think this is more a network issue

Is this every single call, or just sometimes?

Every single call, something is up.

When we move around and go from place to place, the network has to follow you.

Sometimes, it doesn't always catch up, and your phone may still be showing full signal ... But it's lying!

You might find, plane mode for a minute or two, and the. Turn off ... See if that helps.

Hopefully saves you rebooting each time.

If you can, take this to your network store, or a Samsung store, and get them to flash it.

Back up everything first.

It's similar to a reformat,

OR

Go into settings, connections.
Reset connection settings.

Hopefully that works first and without needing the hard boot.

In addition to what has already been suggested, if your callers aren't hearing you, I recommend consulting the guide below (from Samsung Africa) and following the steps that are outlined there:

https://www.samsung.com/africa_en/support/mobile-devices/what-to-do-if-your-microphone-or-speaker-is...

Please update the thread when you get this resolved.

I have A71 and exactly the same issue! To answer some of the comments here, it's not every call, but once it happens then it's every call until restarting the phone. It's not a network issue either as it happens on mobile phone calls as well as voip services such as WhatsApp over mobile data and fiber WiFi, so regardless of connection type or service provider, it still happens and once it does, then restart is the only fix I have found so far. I will try resetting network settings next time, might be quicker, but will lose WiFi passwords etc so not sure if it's worth it. I'm in Ireland by the way, so if someone else in another country has the same problem, then there's no way it's the service provider, it's a software update problem from Samsung!
