Galaxy A15 display/notification problem

I've recently purchased a galaxy A15 (4G) in the UK. 

I've noticed whenever I get a notification the sound will play but the screen will not wake up.

Also the edge lighting notifications don't seem to work either.

I realise it's quite a newly released phone but there's no update yet to fix these problems?

I've tried a factory reset and have allowed all notifications but still doesn't seem to work?

I'm currently using a 3rd party app called glimpse notifications from the play store to wake the screen when I get a notification but I shouldn't really have to do that.

Am I doing something wrong? Will there be an update coming soon?

Hello, have you enabled lock screen notifications?

Watch some YouTube videos to find out if this is a common problem or if it's better to replace the phone.

Same problem with a53 ive contacted samsung about this when using notification details their is no display at all just sound
