Galaxy A15 display/notification problem

I've recently purchased a galaxy A15 (4G) in the UK. 

I've noticed whenever I get a notification the sound will play but the screen will not wake up.

Also the edge lighting notifications don't seem to work either.

I realise it's quite a newly released phone but there's no update yet to fix these problems?

I've tried a factory reset and have allowed all notifications but still doesn't seem to work?

I'm currently using a 3rd party app called glimpse notifications from the play store to wake the screen when I get a notification but I shouldn't really have to do that.

Am I doing something wrong? Will there be an update coming soon?

Hello, have you enabled lock screen notifications?

Watch some YouTube videos to find out if this is a common problem or if it's better to replace the phone.

Same problem with a53 ive contacted samsung about this when using notification details their is no display at all just sound

Not able to clear Notifications on my Lockscreen.

It shows the clear button on the lockscreen Notification panel but it is not allowing to click. I tried searching in the settings but couldn't find anything. Can anyone help me with this issue.

i purchased an a15 on july 10 2024, and i am experiencing this issue.
notifications set to full detail showing, i am not on 'do not disturb' and have set everything to sound, show, and vibrate when a notification comes. the screen does not light up, it remains dark.

i have attempted to use Glimpse Notification, the test it gives works fine. so far it... i mean it does. if its on silent, it lights up. if its on vibrate, it lights up buuut.. no buzzing. if sound is on, i get the sound and screen wake up.

It does the job well enough. Though im absolutely shocked this is even a problem.
