Extend unlock seems to have changed

I have my phone set to stay unlocked at home. Just the one trusted place. But in the last few days it barely stays unlocked for more than 5 or 10 minutes, not the 'up to 4 hours' it used to.

Checking my settings, I notice they have changed. You can no longer turn a location off, you can only delete it. Unhelpful to say the least.

But I wonder if the change has also affected its functionality. It's almost not worth bothering if it only stays unlocked for 5 minutes.

I tried adding trusted devices but no different. 

Anyone else having trouble?

It never worked very well when I tried it.

It would be more useful if you could keep it unlocked when connected to you home WiFi. Sadly that's not an option.

I just realised the 5 minutes is probably the default timeout, so it seems not to be working at all.
It was until very recently though.

I tried adding my laptop as a trusted device, made no difference even though it's less than 1m away! So doubt the wifi would work either.
I think it's basically bust 😒

Created a routine so we'll see if this works.

Finally got round to setting a Mode, turns on Extend Unlock when arriving home. Seems to work so far.

Hey! Could you please navigate me to what you did here? Im having the same issues.. this feature seems completely useless but I really need it

Go to Modes and Routines. Select Modes, then Add new. Then add an automatic condition to turn it on, and select Place.
