So after 2 xiaomi phones, one of which lasted 5 years I decided to go back to Samsung, and chosen a55. While everything works good, fast, there are two huge problems I have.
The first one is android auto in combination with ford s-max 2019. The cable connection somehow works pretty much in ~30 % of cases, I've tested 4 different cables. Xiaomi always worked, Samsung needs sometimes to have active display. I've tried to turn off battery optimization for AA, it's allowed to work with locked phone from settings etc. But most of the time I simply need to unlock phone and have display active, or it won't connect at all (and with unlocked phone it's like 2 out of 3 tries)
The second problem is I keep getting ghost touches in games here or there. Tried several articles but it's mostly about erasing all data or removing screen cover, updating drivers. The first two doesn't make much sense on brand new phone, the third one has been done. Nothing changed so far. Is it a software fault?
Thanks

I performed forum search (not only here) already, but I haven't found a solution. As you can see:
- I tried to restart phone
- I tried to change cables
- I tried to turn off battery optimalization
- I tried to change configuration of android auto (use lock screen etc)
But it solves nothing. It required usually three to four connection attempts to run. And I do not want to do them, because it keeps wearing usb-c off but constant pluging and unplugging. I mean if I drive 4-5 times a day, it means pluging and unplugging the connector like 15 times every day instead of 4-5 just because of "something". And somehow that "something" kinda looks like it's samsung problem somehow.
And that's why I asked. So I don't really see a point in "... search forum ... don't hesitate to ask". I did, that's why I asked.

I also have a new A55 with exactly this issue, but it randomly connect / disconnects Only with A55 + Sony Head unit.
Both phone & head unit appear on the compatibility list
My family's other phones A25 & A51 both works fine with the Sony head unit and to make things worse the A55 works fine with the head unit in my wife's Yaris (2022).
So the failure is my phone & my car, all other combinations work fine.
I've tried all sorts of fixes, but nothing seems to work and I know it is not the cable or connectivity via USB.
Would love to hear of any fix.

After several different cables I've got https://www.alza.cz/vention-type-c-usb-c-90-usb-2-0-cotton-cable-gray-0-25m-aluminum-alloy-type-d620... this one, and it seems to work now. But I don't know if it's (just) the cable, or some software update on the phone.
But I've tried different "brands" before (or even nobrands), and it was never stable. Somehow even cables good enough for connecting my macbook air m3 to monitor with usb hub that solves ethernet and stuff is not good enough for android auto between samsung and car.
