I have an A55 5G and my mum has an old samsung (not a smart phone) and all of a sudden she's not getting my texts. She gets everyone else's and I get hers. My number isn't blocked and I can ring her and I can text other contacts. Any ideas?

Hi @Larast11 and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum.

Is it possible the text is somehow converting to MMS thus stopping the message 🤔

If not and both phone's have not blocked each other's numbers I'd suggest to delete the contact along with any history, and then reset up the contact to see if that helps.

Try Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

And a more broadsworded approach is >

  • Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

Samsung Link > Troubleshooting Blocked Texts.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
