Background

Hi I had a question 

When u go to memory in device care settings it says 'free up memory by stopping background app ' but these apps aren't actually running in background and can't find them in background 

So what does this mean?

Hello 👋 and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum. 

It's probably a prompt to remind people that this can be achieved by stopping an app running in the background @emmk 

Personally I find that the phone already does an excellent job of Ram Management, without me getting involved.

The apps that show in the settings don't actually run in the background then?
