I've been trying to connect my Alexa Speaker to my new A55 but nothing seems to work! The speaker can connect to my computer but not the phone! I've tried everything and starting to feel superfrusttated!

I simply get an error message 'it could not connect to device' no suggestions of how I might resolve this very simple issue!

And yes, I have turned both off many times:)))

Do you have the Alexa app?

I've never done it before, but went onto the app:
-selected my Echo Dot
-searched for devices
- echo dot put on blue light
- on my phone Bluetooth >search for devices
- found echo device > paired
- played media...

Not sure which method you used?1725194188115.jpg

This is exactly the way i do it, or by saying "enter discovery mode" and then connecting via Bluetooth menu on my phone.

This is exactly what I've been doing at least 10 times but it won't comment even tho Echo Dot is showing in 'available devices' ... this is so frustrating! I had no problem connecting it to my previous phone!
