Can anyone advise how to access a text message deleted accidentally in the last 24 hours? The phone has been switched off during this time. I see my default is set to empty the recycle bin after 30 days.

If you open your messaging app, tap the 3 dots. You should see recycle bin. You can restore the deleted message.
