I haven't got a screenshot of the message to hand, but towards the end of last year/beginning of this year, there was a notification sent out to Galaxy Wearable users that mentioned "The existing service quality of older Samsung Gear wearables cannot be guaranteed and ensured through app updates alone... Therefore, older Samsung Gear wearables can no longer be used in conjunction with new Samsung smartphones (from the year of publication 2021)."
The list of watches in this notification did include the Gear 2 Neo, so I suspect the trouble you're having connecting to your A52s is due to compatibility.
