I
Hi.I have Samsung A52 5G and am trying to turn off Call Barring but, under Call Settings and Supplementary Services,I cannot turn off 'International Calls except home' which is the only button switched on and green. When I press this I eventually get the onscreen message 'Failed to read data.Call barring rejected'. As I wish to have unrestricted International access,in case of need,I don't require any Call Barring..Have contacted Network provider who tell me it's not an issue at their end.

Can anyone help me at all ?

Phil

Do you have the option to reset your network settings under settings >general management?
Call barring is not usually on by default so you should be able to deactivate it.

Hi Robin. Thanks for your reply. I followed your suggestion and reset Network settings but it didn't resolve the issue....

First try wiping the phones cache partition

You will need to plug into a working device or pc/laptop.

If that doesn't fix the problem then consider a full factory reset.

Contact your network provider and ask that they remove any bars

Move the sim card to another phone in my case it's Redmi Note 13 Pro +. In the options you can delete all settings password 0000 and then put the sim card to Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra and everything works correctly you can call international lines
