Broken A8

Hello,

My a8 is being a pain after a software update. It now says "An error occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software." i did that but my phone is not being recognised. I tried to flash a stock rom using odin but it just stays stuck on flashing recovery.img any help?

Edit: i now have flashed twrp but i dont know what to do now

I would suggest taking a look on sammobile.com and xdadevelopers.com 

You may need to take the phone to a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre so they can hook the phone up to resolve this issue @Harry_TheKing1

Yeah i did find some custom roms but they are not like the stock one...

Update: After doing some research i found out that the rom i was flashing was not getting accepted by the bootloader because it was a "downgrade" so after downloading the latest rom and flashing it it works.
