Bluetooth Low Energy issues after latest firmware update

After the recent samsung firmware update both my wife's and my A53 5g have developed a Bluetooth Low energy fault. We have a smart lock which uses Bluetooth LE to auto unlock our front door and we have Samsung Smart tags.

Before the latest update our door would open as we pulled on to the drive, now we have to put the phone nearly touching the door. Also when I use smart things to search for a smart tag it no longer finds the tag jnless I'm within less than a meter away, when Before I could scan from a large distance, rendering the smart tags useless unless someone else goes past my tags.

I have tried an old phone and it connects to my smart lock from a large distance. I have also reset the phone to factory settings ( which doesnt roll back the firmware update unfortunately) and the issue still persists.

Has anyone else noticed this issue? I guess if you don't use bluetooth low energy for anything you may not notice.

What latest update? My A53 here in Finland got July update today and Bluetooth connectivity and stability is mentioned to have been improved.

Hi warre1 and thank you writing on this subject to me. After reading your message I have manually searched on my phone if there is an update and it now pops up with a July update. My problem started with the previous update to this one. When I get home I will try the new July update and see if the Bluetooth and connectivity also resolves my Bluetooth low energy issues. I will update my post if it rectifies it.
