@konsequence: The storage of apps is largely restricted to the internal storage of the device, so it won't be possible to move most apps to the SD card. I understand it isn't ideal, however you can move personal files and media to the card by swiping up from your Home Screen > Samsung (folder) > My Files > Images (as an example) > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Edit > Select the images you'd like to move > Move > Tap the back button > SD Card > Select a folder, or create a new one > Move here. I hope this helps.

i wish i knew that before i bought this sd card, i dont need 128 gbs for my 500 mb's of pics. i need it for my 128 gigs of games, this has seriously aggravated me because its so nonsensical and obvious why it is set up like this and has pretty much turned me off from buying samsung ***** ever again.
not just that but memory writing gets slower as you go on, there could be a day when an external would have better performance than my internal. and even then the difference now is so beyond miniscule that its hard not to say this ***** is re*****d and an obvious greedy ploy by samsung to stop people from getting cheaper phones and sd cards
