Android 12 update fail?

In around july 30 I got the Android 12 update which worked sucessfully but I noticed that I dont have the Camera Access toggle in quick tiles or settings, and also I dont have the Extra Dim feature... did my update get glitched or am I missing something. Ive looked everywhere but I cant find them.

Hi, did you check the settings of the menu? Pull down, pull down again, press the 3 dots in top right corner and Edit Buttons. If they are not there, then it's possible that your A serie doesn't have this function being a "budget" model.

I have a A32 4G but my parents have a A32 5G but it does have extra dim but mine doesnt? Like its basically the same thing

Seems also fair that i cant even disable my camera so apps can just spy on me unless i pay more?

I'm sorry, I also don't understand why Samsung makes that choice in differences between devices. But you can still set Wich app has access to the camera. Go to Settings, Apps, 3 dots in right top corner, Permission manager or directly in the app settings.

Well when i use a shortcut maker app I can access extra dim in accessibility as a shortcut on the home screen but i cant find it in the settings itsself or tiles so I do have it but i cannot access it?

Apparently, mysterious are the ways of Samsung sometimes. 🤷

Hello,

Please sumbit an error report through the Samsung Members App > Support > Error reports. When they receive your logs they can possibly fix this with an update if its a bug.

If its a bug than a factory reset could help too but only if its a bug.

Thank you for reaching out. Have checked if there is an update available? When you open the control panel, tap the 3 dots on the right top corner and choose for Adjusting buttons. Do you see the button for Extra Dimming?
