My brand new (~3 months old) Galaxy A71 has recently started showing an error message: "The connected USB device isn't supported."
The main problem with this is that there is no USB device connected, the USB port has nothing plugged into it!
If I restart the phone whilst the charger is connected, the message doesn't appear until I disconnect the charger.
Since the message has appeared, I am unable to connect the phone to my car to use Android Auto.
I have tried a factory reset, it did not solve the problem.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Hmm... annoyed with myself for not thinking to try that before posting. Given it a go and early signs are promising. I'll give it 24 hours and if the message doesn't come back I'll accept this solution, thanks!

Unfortunately it was short lived. As soon as I connected the phone to my car again, the problem came back. Since it's still under 12 months old, might have to look at getting a repair through the retailer...

Even I am also having the same problem with my Samsung galaxy M14 5G, After charging my phone I am facing this issue today.
Its so annoying that it keeps on wake up my phone and drains the battery. Also Wakes the screen with full brightness.
