Firstly try a simple reboot to reload software
Press and hold the power, home, and volume up buttons

4. Use the volume keys to highlight reboot system now
5. Press the power button to select
6. The device will restart normally
Check the cable:

Developer options (if necessary): If you've recently enabled developer options, check the "Default USB configuration" setting to make sure it's set to allow data transfer.
Clean the port:
• Remove debris: Gently clean the USB port on your phone with a can of compressed air to remove any dust or debris that might be interfering with the connection.
