[01/06 EDIT AT THE BOTTOM]

Hi!

So I just got the A53 5G  phone yesterday and today when I opened the selfie camera it just looked wrong.

People are extremely orange and the saturation is low and dull.

I've tried all the display settings I can but nothing seems to help. Phone is on vivid as well.

Are there any others experiencing the same?

Please help. Thank you!

[EDIT : So unfortunately i got no help with this issue. Got told to play with filters or wait for maybe am eventual update. The selfie camera is worse than my Huawei from 2020 and now I'm stuck paying for this phone that I ended up giving to a family member. Unfortunately seems like samsung quality is going down and I won't recommend getting one in the future.]

I'm having a very similar problem! Not so much with the orangey skin, but the dullness. My hair is a vibrant green, but looks all washed out and faded in the pictures. It's not good at all! I hope someone figures out a way to fix this soon.

The phone can't even take a true picture of a white sheet of picture!

My 5 year old Samsung phone, with only ONE camera, can outperform the A53 for pictures.

Why bother having extra lenses for this phone?

Heeey!

I have the same issue with my phone. At first I thought it was because the screen protector was blocking my front camera. When I removed it, it's still the same dull color...

I'm extremely disappointed because the phone on display in the store has good quality.

I even compared it with my phone side by side. You can really see the difference in quality!! Why is that?!

My older Huawei phone (w/ lower camera specs) has even better front cam camera quality than this new one 😞

I have the same problem on A53. There is a reddish tint in all photos from the Samsung camera. All filters are disabled. I compare with A52 where there is no such problem.
In daylight on the street, too, a red tint
Please fix it.

I mistakenly brought my fist and last Samsung product in this phone. I wish I could afford to send it off for recycling and buy a phone from any other producer. Samsung's answer to comically terrible camera was that is works fine or I can use the manual settings to make it work properly, both can't be true and you can hardly capture the moment when you have to spend ages playing around with the manual setting to make the camera work.... lesson learnt, don't buy Samsung

I just purchased the A53 and had the same issue with mine,  but it wasn't just the color it just seemed blurry also  , so I returned mine  . I loved the phone but the camera was horrible  and I even reset it 5 times  and still didn't change anything

I bought the Samsung A53 this month , the selfie camera has an orange tint and makes you look orange,  and the back seems off like it's  blurred even the back camera didn't look right  , I took it back to metro and told the sales lady and she couldn't believe how bad , even she tried to fix it and couldn't  , so she returned it for me  . But if it wasn't for the camera being bad I  loved the phone itself,  the sound was great  . Samsung please fix the camera on this phone  ..

I also noticed this one when I compared my purchased with those display in the stores. The camera is clearer compared to my device (both front camera and main camera).

Have you fix it as of this moment?

I've resigned myself to the purchase being a mistake and cannot wait until I've had it long enough to justify getting a different phone
