Ever since the update (I think it's 6.1) my phone is constantly bootlooping, freezing and overheating.. I've tried a factory reset, but I can't even go through the setup once I have with it overheating and bootlooping again. I'm not sure if the phone is in warranty, but surely there's some accountability when it's the responsibility of samsung's shoddy updates causing the issue... From light research I'm guessing the motherboard is fried and needs to be replaced I am not going to pay for this and I think samsung have a duty of care to replace the board free of charged as it was caused from their poor updates...
Will not buy a samsung again for this!

Hello @JamboA53 and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum Section for Uk and Eu Members 👋
Seasons Greetings 🎄
Your phone should have 2 years manufacturer's warranty depending on region you reside in.
Therefore I'd suggest to let a Samsung Service Centre have hands on ASAP.
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
