Android Auto

Hi

Just got an A55 and having been using apps via Android auto for years (without a cable), however my favourite apps, BBC Sounds and Deezer aren't showing in the app launcher so I can't control then from my media centre in the car. I've tried troubleshooting via samsung but I'm no further forward in resolving this. Can anyone help? (The apps are enabled so it's not that)

May I ask which phone you was using previously ?

I'm wondering if for some reason the change in phone model is connected. 

If you perform a forum search you may find existing threads with some further help or guidence within.

It might also be beneficial to seek out a car forum of people who also use Android Auto and your phone model.

My Android auto has always required a cable connection with S23 ultra and S21 ultra phones. With my VW car this is a requirement.

It is however possible to get a dongle to connect wirelessly.

I am actually more surprised that you previously had a phone that would wireless connect to android auto. What phone did that and what is the car manufacturer as this may also be relevant ?

My phone connects to the Bluetooth, hands free etc, but AA has always needed a wired connection.
