My Galaxy A53 5G started having so many issues after the OneUI 6.0 Update. Now that I am on OneUI6.1 June Patch and still suffering, I decided to test and compare results.

Galaxy A53 5G is made in India, bought in Dubai, being used in Sri Lanka. Tested during peak hours. One SIM per ISP is used and shared between devices

 

Here are the results:

Airtel ISP (Tower is +500m away) 
Airtel 4G on A53Airtel 4G on A53Airtel 4G on J7 MaxAirtel 4G on J7 Max

Hutch ISP (Tower is +500m away)

Why is my 7-year old J7 better at being a phone than the Galaxy A53 5G ?

Hello @RoBro007 and Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum Section for Uk / Eu members. 

Being in the UK I have no knowledge of the networks your using I'm afraid. 

It might be beneficial to submit an enquiry with your network's customer services in regards to your account, and network coverage in your area just to rule that out. 

What's signal like on 4G+ / 4G etc 🤔 when it comes to normal surfing. 

What is signal like when your commuting out of your current area ?

You could try some generic troubleshooting steps such as >

  • Test your sim card in another phone and then see what happens. 
  • Reset the network settings in General Management under Reset and then Reset Network. 
  • Use the diagnostic tool found in your Samsung Members App. 
  • Send feedback via your Samsung Members App stating the issue happened after updating.
