Hello,

I've always enjoyed my Samsung smart phones, but not my new A51. I have a serious problem with bluetooth. Bluetooth connection keeps disconnecting and/or stuttering. I have a feeling its software is buggy. Has anyone faced this issue and if yes, do you know of a solution? I have updated the software to the latest version.

** Further updates (4-Feb-2020): today while playing an audio book on my bluetooth headset (Samsugn Level U), voice disappeared and I could only hear noise; I had to restart the phone to resolve the issue (back to Windows 98 theme); I hope Samsung can resolve this asap. It is a serious issue.

** Update (10-Feb-2020): i have just installed the update A515FXXU2ATA8/A515FOJM2ATB1/A515FXXU2ATA8 size: 351.39 MB (dated: Feb 1, 2020). will start testing and provide updates in a few days.

** Update (14-Feb-2020): after a few days of testing, I can confirm the Bluetooth issues no longer exist. I have been playing Bluetooth audio and no disconnections or stuttering occurs.

Thanks,

Yosuef

I've just had an update (UK) and now showing build number QP1A. 190711.020.A515FXXU2ATB1 and I don't seem to have a problem any more (fingers crossed), not a single drop out even with data and wifi activated. Worth checking updates.

Maybe my mention of going to Which magazine and escalating issue had an effect

I have this exact version and the issue still persists.

Difficult to know what came with the update, as it was listed as a security update but it has cured the problem. Just testing it's consistent by restarting the phone.

I can easily reproduce it by playing music to my airpods and then turning wifi off and on again. The musik cracks and stutters. Second option to reproduce: Go somewhere, where other people with wireless headphones are, like the bus. Annoying.

I understand. Mine did the same around a wireless mouse. Whatever was in this morning's update, which took quite a long time to configure after the phone restarted has cured the problem. Not a lot of help to you I realise, but suggests there should be a software update that will cure it.

Found out that it works flawless with only one Airpod in use :winking-face: Awesome. The question is, which device to buy now, if it is not the A51?

Puzzling! Using Creative Outlier Air and now working perfectly both online and offline music, even around other bluetooth devices. Sorry I can't find any other specific reference to the recent update. Security software version MDFv3.1 Release5 may be what updated this morning.
