Hi @Abayomi. Is Fast Charging enabled? This is found in Settings > Device Care > Battery > Fast Cable Charging. If it is, try charging your phone in Safe Mode. To activate this, restart your phone but whilst it's powering up, keep the 'Volume Down' button held until you reach the home screen. If done correctly, Safe Mode will be displayed in the bottom left corner. If your phone still isn't Fast Charging in Safe Mode, let me know.
Have you gone into the device maintenance, which is available in the mobile device settings. It really useful, as a start to run a diagnostic alternatively you can always call the Samsung support team on that can run through alternative options. Hope this will help
I would also recommend, that you try charging from an alternative electrical socket. Often, we always use the same socket. Secondly, try a different charger as a test.
My S8 stopped working and is now charing reallu slowley, I have purchased 6 new charges yet nothing. The Samsung original charging plug appears to be completely dead. I found this link on ather group which maybe of interest. It appears to be a known fault
