Hello, I bought a samsung galaxy A35 5g recently and the first day I've started using it was on the 5th of August 2024, today after a week of using the battery hasn't improved at all even after the phone went through the learning useage patterns phase. With 5g turned off, screen refresh rate at 60hz and almost all the apps are put in deep sleep the battery still drains quickly, with just 2.4 hours of screen on time just surfing the internet and a bit of social media 50% of the battery is gone just like that. Any suggestions on how to proceed with this issue?

Hello, Kareem. It sounds like you have covered quite a few power hungry features already. Have a look at your Care Report and see if there are any problematic apps that may be encountering issues in the background. This is found under Settings > Device Care > Tap the graph icon in the top right . If there are any issues, make sure the apps are fully up to date.
If the report is clear, would you be able to share a screenshot of your battery usage once you have run the phone down to 50% or less? That's Settings > Battery > View Details.
This will provide a broader understanding of what is causing the rapid discharge. Make sure to include the graphs and top 5 apps.

Above is the report for the past 30 days which I took a look on before and noticed that the ohoen had put the apps (Amman vision bus and Files) to deep sleep on August 8th and 9th respectively.
As for the battery useage here are the associated graphs requested.
As you can see within the 4.2 (-1% every 5 min) hours I was telling you about the phone lost nearly 50% of it's charged state, which puts me in a constant worrying state since I have to charge it to 80% maximum in order to maintain my battery health and in the same time not making it fall below the 20%, hence putting me in a strict margin.

So one of the deep sleeping apps in the Care Report there is facing issues which in turn can affect battery life. We recommend clearing the cache from the app in question through Settings > Apps > Select the app > Storage > Clear Cache. Then check for any updates and monitor your battery usage for another charge cycle.

This is after I've deleted the cache for the app, is consuming 42% in this case seems ok? keep in mind that battery saving was also on during the day, it seems relatively low (screen on time).

In that case, we recommend clearing the data for the affected app that was experiencing issues, and failing that, uninstall the app and test again for another charge cycle. Clearing the data from the app is next to Clear Cache.

Unfortunately it didn't solve it. I don't know what to do actually, can the battery be checked in a samsung service center ?

same problem! The A34 was way better for battery life. Unfortunately, the mod here assumes we're all software engineers! I just want a battery that lasts st least 24 hours!
