Rwmwcent software update 29th January. Battery draining withing a few hours without phone being used. This is not acceptable. As a type 1 diabetic I need Mt phone continuously to ensure blood levels are correct. Does anyone know how to uninstall the latest update. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Not evidence using phone and it dies within a few hours.

Hi @Lollom  Can not revert to previous software via official means. After the new software is instaled the AI does relearn useage patterns so temporarily there may be a bit of Battery Drain.  However   It is advisable to clear the cache partition after updates,  some cache files can become outdated or even corrupt.  After this process the temporary cache files are deleted but your Data is intact.

Follow these steps:

1. Turn off the device.
2. May need to Connect To Computer  , Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key

3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

@Lollom in your Device Care Section under Battery check what's using your battery after a full day has elapsed please.

Use the optimisation tool please too.

You can also send feedback via your Samsung Members App.

Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict.
