My A33 5G won't update to the latest software. I've plenty of space, been through all the Bot tips. Started in safe mode etc. But it still gets stuck at 25% of the update, tells me it can't do it and to either contact samsung or use smartswitch on the computer (also tried this but mine and my husbands computers don't have enough space to do this). Any other ideas or ways to contact samsung would be great.

Hi there 👋 and welcome.

I suggest if possible to free up space on PC and trying to use smart switch on your PC.

If that's not possible you can send feedback to developers in this app under support section.

You can also try wipe phones cache partition if you haven't already.

Also if there's any samsung store next to you you can visit them and they will be more then welcome to help you.

I've cleared as much as I can off the computers but it wants over 30Gb. I'll see if I can work out how to do the send feedback thing.

I'm confused. No update to a Samsung mobile has ever been 30gb.......

Something not quite right here. I think you need to contact Samsung. Please go to the website samsung.com and click on Contact Us for the phone numbers.

The update itself isn't. But it wants that much space to use smart switch to push a 320mb update through to my phone.

It's the PC asking to free up space total of 30gb in order to install through smart switch as I understood.

Unusual. Many A Series devices don't have 30gb spare!!!!

The alternative is to Wipe Partition Cache as you've already suggested and if that doesn't work it may be time to do a backup then Factory Data Reset the device.

Yes wipe cache partition and if that don't work factory reset would be solution but the person told that not the phone asking 30gb for update the install update and smartwatch on their computer (pc) itself asked to free up 30gb not the phone.

My thinking here is that after a Factory Data Reset then an over the air update should be possible......
