Hi, I'm having problems with voice calls on my A16.  When I'm talking on the phone, the person I'm speaking to, says they can hear me clearly for a while, then my voice drifts away and they can't hear me properly,  then I become clear again,  as if I'm walking away from the phone and then returning to it. However , I have the phone beside my face the whole time. Can anyone help please?

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

This could be due to voice isolation settings during a phone call. When on the phone, swipe down, and there should be an icon to change the voice mode.

As mentioned above this can also be a network issue.

Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK and EU Community Customer to Customer Forum

Sorry to hear of your issues. This will almost certainly be a network issue so you'll need to speak to your provider.

Hello @SiobhanDoyle 1

Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum.

As a process of elimination can you try your sim card in another phone 🤔

There is a diagnostic tool 🔧 in your Samsung Members App.

May I suggest to perform a forum search as you may find already existing threads with help and advice within.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Thank you very much. I did what you suggested when my husband phoned me a while ago. It was a short phonecall so perhaps not enough to be a very good test, but he did say that my voice wasn't fading away. Fingers crossed this has fixed the problem. I will let you know. Thanks so much
