A14 Lock Screen Timing Out

Hi. I can change my screen timeout now set to 2 minutes), but when I lock screen, the lock screen display switches off after about 2 seconds. This needs to be longer, as I have important information (Blood Group etc.) scrolling on the lock screen. 2  seconds is not enough time for an emergency worker to read the details on pressing the power button. Anyone know how to change it?

This feature was available on older Samsung phones.  Samsung, please can you find a way of adding this feature to existing phones which need it. Five seconds is not enough time, I would like at least 30 seconds to a minute. I spent a long time trying to see if I could set this up on my new phone and it didn't appear to be available. I also have important text which needs to be viewable to someone who may find the phone or emergency crews.

Yes, I detest the way the lock screen times out after 2 seconds! I have just spent 30 minutes chatting to someone from Samsung support and she couldn't help me fix it. She's arranged for a technical support agent to call me back within 48-72 hours and take remote control of my phone, to see if he/she can fix it - but I very much doubt they will be able to. If they can't, I will probably return the phone because I simply cannot cope with the lock screen timing out after 2 seconds - even when I am on a voice call!

@oldfogey: To prevent the Lock screen from timing out while you're checking notifications, please swipe up from your Home screen and head to Settings > Advanced features > Motions and gestures > Keep screen on while viewing, and toggle this option on. This feature uses the front camera to detect your face, so the screen will remain on for as long as you're interacting with the device. I hope this helps.

I've just gone to Settings>Advanced features>Motions and gestures on my A14 5G and there is no setting to keep screen on while viewing? There is a setting to Lift to wake = turn on the screen when you pick up your phone. Maybe that would work? I'll try it. No, it woke the screen but the lock screen still timed out after 2 seconds! Grrr

Another vote to fix the Locked screen timeout. Why couldn't you just link it to the Display timeout?
