My galaxy A12 got hot while charging but after power ofof it was fine

No but it was hot from the back and front in the port and near the cameras

Getting 'slightly' warm is normal - Just make sure to not leave it on charge longer than needed and to turn off if it becomes too hot to touch. If this happens, I would consider contacting Samsung support to assess your options.

Also, when charging, please try to use an official charger or one from a reputable source as using 'fake' ones can cause device malfunction.

It is a original charger but is a bit black at the bottom not that much like a pinch
